Hologram Project
The Good Host
For my Capstone project, I decided that I wanted to use the same technology they used to bring us holo Tupac to tell a story about hologram AI programs rising up.
The first video is of my prototype hologram.
and the second is the finished product it was a lot of trial and error to get the finished scaled-up product but it is without a doubt one of my proudest accomplishments.

The interactive piece
With this project, the goal was to hit as many aspects of new media as we could and to do so we made an interactive piece for our project.
This cardboard thing is actually the first draft of our hologram magic 8 ball.
and the little black box is the finished product, for this, we programmed a .random application with a bunch pre-recorded answers and with the help of a makey makey kit when someone placed two fingers on the tin foil on the box it would give them a random answer, just like a magic 8 ball.
Final Touches
Coming together
After making the interactive version we decided to use the same technique to make the big one for the presentation.
After some frame construction, we were able to see proof of concept and moved forward with constructing a box for the hologram to live.
